Professors John McCartney and Gladstone Fluney Hutchinson lead a discussion with students as part of Black History Month

Students had a chance to participate in a fireside conversation with John McCartney, professor of government and law and chair of Africana Studies, and Gladstone Fluney Hutchinson, associate professor of economics and business, about the state of the Black Diaspora. The event was part of the College’s celebration of Black History Month from Feb. 1-March 5 with the theme “The Modern Black Experience: Examining the Past to Define our Place in the Future.”
