Comedian Jamie Lissow, who appeared on NBC’s “The Tonight Show” in December, will perform his stand-up act 9 p.m. tonight in the Farinon Center snackbar.
The free event is sponsored by Lafayette Activities Forum.
A New York native now living in Los Angeles, Lissow has been called “the best writer since Seinfeld” and “Adam Sandler without the guitar.” At 24, he is one of the youngest performers working the national comedy circuit. As a recent college graduate, and an even more recent law school dropout, Lissow shares his diverse college experiences and unique family upbringing with audiences across the country.
Appearing in numerous commercials, Jamie has been seen on the Comedy Central channel and been a contributing writer for “The Tonight Show.” He has performed with such comedians as Chris Rock and Norm McDonald. In 1999, Lissow showcased five National Association for Campus Activities conferences and will be showcasing two NACA conferences this fall.
