The Crew Club’s fourth annual Rent-a-Rower Fundraiser will start this Saturday and finish Friday, April 26.
“This is your chance to get a lot of work done around your home and support the Crew Club at the same time,” says coach Mike Homes.
Club members will perform jobs such as raking leaves, cleaning gutters, washing windows, mowing lawns, painting, cleaning out the garage or basement, house cleaning, and a wide range of household projects. Rowers will work for up to five hours at a rate of $10 per hour. Those hiring must provide all tools and supplies.
Rowers can be “rented” any day between Saturday and April 26, including weekdays, with the exception of spring training week (March 24-31) and race days (April 4, 13 and 20). A week’s notice is requested.
Forms for hiring crew club members are being distributed to campus mail boxes.
