Don Hogan of Mergent will demonstrate how to use Mergent FIS Online, one of Skillman Library’s electronic resources, to find financial data on U.S. and international public companies at a brown bag talk noon-1 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, in room 217 of Skillman Library.
“The database contains financial data and company profiles/histories on U.S. and international public companies; it’s used mainly by students and faculty in economics and business,” says Terese Heidenwolf, head of information services. “We’ve subscribed to the online version for several years, though we just added the international data.”
The library has had the print version of Mergent FIS for a long time, she adds.
