Director of information technology for Universal Service Administrative Company, Steve Delahunty ’87 recently became an adjunct faculty member at George Washington University, Washington, D.C., where he teaches the undergraduate course “Introduction to Computers and the Internet.” USAC is a private, not-for-profit corporation responsible for providing the states and territories of the United States with access to affordable telecommunications services through the Universal Service Fund.
Delahunty is active in the Army National Guard, serving as assistant brigade operations officer for the 1st Brigade of the 29th Infantry Division in Virginia, and as president-elect of the Virginia National Guard Association. He is a member of the board of Network Professionals Association.
An A.B. engineering graduate, Delahunty is pursuing an M.B.A. in technology management from University of Phoenix. He volunteers as a mentor for at-risk youth in a state-run GED program.
