The Crew Club will run its fifth annual Rent-a-Rower Fundraiser on six dates in October and November.
“This is your chance to get a lot of work done around your home and support the Crew Club at the same time,” notes the group.
Club members will perform jobs such as raking leaves, cleaning gutters, washing windows, mowing lawns, painting, cleaning out the garage or basement, house cleaning, and a wide range of household projects. Rowers will work for up to five hours at a rate of $10 per hour. Those hiring must provide all tools and supplies.
Rowers can be “rented” Oct. 6, 20, and 26, and Nov. 2, 3 and 10.
Forms for hiring crew club members have been distributed to campus mailboxes and should be returned to box 7589. Those needing a form or more information should email Lafayette_crew@yahoo.com or call x4563.
Crew Club will have its first competition Saturday, a home race against University of Scranton. Action is set to begin at 10 a.m.
