Alumni who majored in anthropology and sociology shared their job experiences with students at a dinner panel April 8 in the Faculty Dining Room of Marquis Hall. Students representing a variety of majors attended.
The panel included Marteena Jones ’00, public relations director, Beaufort Historical Association, Atlantic Beach, N.C.; Lewis Kurland ’73, legal counsel, K. Hovnanian Enterprises, Edison, N.J.; Lee Walker Reedy ’91, national marketing director, ACTS Retirement Life Communities, West Point, Pa.; Beth Spitalny ’01, MTV Networks, New York, N.Y.; and Gioia Pisano ’90, assistant director of diversity recruitment strategy, Ernst & Young, Iselin, N.J.
Last month, another Career Services panel brought math graduates Jacob Ruggles ’01, sales assistant, Wachovia Securities, Inc., Catasauqua, Pa.; Justine Gaeta ’92, operations director, AT&T Alascom, Bridgewater, N.J.; and Petya Ivanova ’99, actuarial assistant, Mony Life Insurance Company, New York, N.Y.
