-Student Government meetings will now take place on Wednesdays at 4:45 pm.
-Representatives for the Alternative Newspaper request a $1,250 emergency allocation to purchase a computer program and cover publishing costs.
-Andy Baker, the Vice Pres. of LEAP, sat in on the meeting. He informed us about the brown bag which will be held on Oct. 3rd concerning “Recycling: Working Towards a Green Campus.”
-Pam Brewer is holding a Leadership Workshop; SG Reps are invited to attend.

-The Associate Representatives from the Athletics Committee need to be replaced. Joanna Karasoulas has already replaced one opening and one more representative is needed as soon as possible. SG members should e-mail Liz any suggestions for people she can contact. The person needs to be available once a month at 4:10 pm for the committee and faculty meetings.

-Allocated $325 to the Alternative Newspaper for publication use only.

–Attended the Block Party and sat at the SG table.
-Will meet with Dave and Lee concerning the upcoming FCC elections.
Andrew Kasman- Student Life
-Helped run the SG table at the Block Party.
-The shuttle bus is up and running.
Dan LaTerra- Greek Liaison
-Met with IFC; the faculty BBQ is set for Oct. 8th.
-Discussed Greek Life Affairs with Elliot Sokalsky on how to improve inter-fraternal relations and how to self-govern fraternities.
-Helping out with Wellness Day committee.
-Safe Rides is up and running for Wednesday and Thursday nights.
Aly Dewji- Farinon Student Services
-Discussing issue of ID cards with Wood dining services.
Sarah Hazel- Community Affairs
-Ordered date-rape test strips ($200) for SG booth at Wellness Day.
-Working with Wellness Day committee on booth.
Sue Anamier- Multicultural Affairs
-Encouraged attendance at the Hispanic Heritage Month events.
-Worked with committee to plan for Wellness Day.
-LINC meeting next Wed. at 12 pm.
Colby Block- Student Life
-Working on the Block Party with Amy Ahart; making final plans for the SG table.
