Lee Goldfarb- President

-The Trustee dinner will be on Thursday, October 23rd from 6-8 pm (Marlo Room). Topics to be discussed are: Skillman Library (hours and renovation), parking (ticket prices), lighting, Greek life, new residence hall, and 3rd Street.

-The SG-sponsored/run Pep Rally will be on Friday, November 21st. A committee was formed and will meet next week during the regular meeting.

-The SG will have a dinner with the Deans at Dean Krivoski’s on Wednesday, Nov. 5th at 6 pm.

-The Biology Club requested approval of club.

-The LAF Review requested an emergency allocation of $400.

-Attended dinner and lecture with Victor Vega, the Hispanic Heritage Month Speaker.

Liz Koskinen- Vice President

-Met with the Associate Representatives who had questions last week.

-Received several minutes from committees.

Jon Cohn- Treasurer

-Allocated $400 to the LAF Review.

-Attended the Hispanic Heritage Month Speaker.

-Attending the first meeting for the Come-Unity week committee for LINC.

Dave Watts- Elections Chair

-FCC elections will be held at the following times and locations:

Wednesday, October 15th: 6-7 pm Farinon

Thursday, October 16th: 12-1 pm Farinon, 5:30-6:30 pm Marquis

Friday, October 17th: 12-1 pm Marquis

-Printed 400 ballots; 19 freshmen are running.

Andrew Kasman- Student Life

-Meeting with Amy Ahart about the Pep Rally.

Colby Block- Student Life

-Met with Dean Worthen about the Pep Rally, and meeting with Amy Ahart on Friday.

-Formed the Pep Rally Committee that will meet every week.

Dan LaTerra- Greek Liaison

-Attended the IFC meeting; there will possibly be a Faculty Tea with Greeks towards the end of the semester.

-Safe Rides are going well.

-Waiting for a reply from the RHC president on co-sponsoring the “Holiday Lights Festival.”

Ryan Sakmar- Academic Affairs

-Meeting with Lee to discuss the possible dates for the Administration Tea.

-Compiling list of possible topics for personal discussions with the Deans.

Sarah Hazel- Community Affairs

-Wellness Day went well. Lori Gunther is interested in helping us or doing a sexual assault panel. Cindy Adams wants the SG to discuss the possibility of holding a panel before the end of this semester.

-100 people have already signed up for the blood drive. We will ask people who are still interested to show up October 29th as alternates. SG will be responsible for setting and cleaning up the day of the Blood Drive.


Sue Anamier- Multicultural Affairs
-Attending the first meeting for the Come-Unity week committee for LINC.

Ryan Lawlis- Academic Affairs

-The Constitution of Lafayette AIBS Student Chapter was submitted and approved.
