The Landis Community Outreach Center is conducting its annual gift drive.

Donated gifts will benefit members of the Easton community by way of the Third Street Alliance for Women and Children, Project of Easton, AIDS Service Center, 21st St. Medical Clinic, and Spring Garden Children’s Center.

“These organizations have identified families and individuals in need of a little help in making the holiday season better,” says Christine Bender ’04 of Gibsonia, Pa., a Trustee Scholarship recipient who is pursuing an B.S. degree in neuroscience and an A.B. in economics and business. She is the Landis Center’s team leader for outreach programs promoting public health and education.

There is a list of desired gifts, with gift tags, the Landis Center, 120 Farinon College Center.

“Those wishing to donate can also contact me directly and I will happy to supply a name and requested gift,” Bender says, adding, “We are also doing a children’s book drive, seeking titles in Spanish or English, and collecting small pampering items to allow children at Third Street Alliance to give their mothers gifts.”

You may deliver a wrapped gift with identification tag attached to the following locations by Friday, December 5: Landis Center; Skillman Library; Office of Alumni Affairs, Pfenning Alumni Center; Department of Athletics, Kirby Sports Center; Chaplain’s Office, Hogg Hall; Department of Human Resources, Markle Hall.
