Students can enjoy a variety of planned activities during this month’s interim session, including a party, bowling, a game night, study breaks, TV nights, pizza nights, and road trips for snow tubing, varsity basketball, and grocery store runs.
Light refreshments will be served at a free Welcome Back Party 8-10 p.m. today in the main lounge of South College.
Transportation from the Farinon Center will be provided for the first dozen students who show up for a free bowling trip at Warren Lanes in Phillipsburg 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Also on Wednesday, Friends of Lafayette Basketball is running a fan bus to the men’s game against Penn at the Palestra. It will depart the Williams Center for the Arts at 4:30 p.m. Seats are available for $20 per person; game tickets must be purchased separately at the Palestra or in advance by calling Penn’s ticket office at 215-898-6151. Bus seats can be reserved by emailing morses.
A snow tubing trip to Jack Frost/Big Boulder in the Poconos will leave the Farinon Center 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Big Boulder has 13 single snow tubing chutes with four lifts and Jack Frost has three family and five single snow tubing chutes. Free transportation will be provided for 12 students. A game night will be held 9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 19, in the South College main lounge. Light refreshments will be served.

Free transportation to a grocery store will be provided 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9 and 23, and Thursday, Jan. 15. Rides will leave from the front of the Farinon Center.
Pizza nights will take place 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6 and 13; and Wednesday, Jan. 21, in the South College main lounge. Food and drinks will be served free of charge.
TV nights, featuring free refreshments, will take place 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8 and 22, and Wednesday, Jan. 14, in the Watson Hall basement lounge.
