Voting on award winners has begun for the 2004 Spring Party Challenge organized by Together Everyone Achieves More (TEAM), a consortium of campus peer education groups.

Cash prizes are available for winning groups in a variety of categories. To vote, visit http://ww2.lafayette.edu/~team/vote.php or stop by the Farinon Center noon-1:30 p.m. Friday.

Concluded earlier this month, the Spring Party Challenge is an initiative designed to create alternative social gatherings on campus. Last year’s grand prize winner was Students for Social Justice. Participating groups this semester included LEAP, Students for Social Justice, Dry Surfers, Arts Society, Hispanic Society of Lafayette, International Students Association, and Africans Creating African Consciousness and Interest Abroad.

Judging criteria for the parties include multi-cultural themes, decorations, entertainment, activities, food, beverages, use of natural resources, attendance, and overall enthusiasm. The parties had to be free, start no earlier than 10:30 p.m., and last at least 2.5 hours.
