The Arts Society is planning a day trip to Philadelphia Museum of Art and a dinner followed by a large-screen viewing of West Side Story Saturday.

Twenty tickets have been reserved for the museum trip, which will include an audio tour of the Manet and the Sea exhibition, featuring Impressionist seascapes. The bus will leave the Williams Center for the Arts at 9:30 a.m. to allow time to explore the museum before the 2 p.m. audio tour. The bus will depart 3:30 p.m. for the return to Easton.

The trip costs $2 for Arts Society members and $5 for non-members. Individual signups (no floor programs or other groups) are on the Arts Society bulletin board opposite the Williams Center box office.

Free dinner tickets are available for the first 30 students to drop by the office of Allison Blatt, Williams Center operations director, Williams Center room 133. The meal will start at 6:30 p.m. and the screening at 7:30 p.m. The menu will include frenched chicken breast with whole grain Dijon mustard sauce, roasted vegetable polenta (vegetable entree); roasted red potatoes, California blend vegetables; tossed salad, rolls and butter; brownies and ice cream; and coffee, tea, and soda.

All are welcome to attend the movie screening after dinner. There will be a free drawing at the event for a West Side Story Limited Edition DVD Collector’s Set. For more information, contact Blatt at blatta or x5011.
