Two of Lafayette’s four a cappella groups will hold auditions for new members this weekend.
Quintessence, a mixed vocal jazz group, will have tryouts 2 p.m. Sunday in the upstairs practice rooms at the Williams Center for the Arts. No special preparation is needed. For more information, contact Dave Mitchell ’05 (Bear Creek, Pa.), a double major in music and economics & business.
Soulfege, another mixed a cappella group, will have auditions 6:30-7:30 p.m. Sunday and Monday in the Kirby House library. Singers should bring a one- to two-minute solo. For more information, contact neuroscience major Danielle Charych ’05 (East Setauket, N.Y.).
