Scholarships for Women Offered by Harrisburg AAUW Branch

The Harrisburg Branch of the American Association of University Women will award two $2,500 Beverly J. Smith Memorial Scholarships for the fall 2005 semester.

Those eligible are:

  • enrolled as full-time students in both the spring and fall 2005 terms;
  • female students having completed at least 60 credits toward a bachelor’s degree by the end of May 2005;
  • attending an accredited college or university in Pennsylvania;
  • permanent residents of Dauphin, Cumberland or Perry County;
  • demonstrating academic achievement, with at least a 3.4 GPA; and
  • demonstrating financial need.

Complete application material is available on the AAUW Harrisburg web site. The deadline for applications is Friday, May 13.
