When Jeannine Fallon Anckaitis ’93 mentors an intern or extern, she recalls her own communications internship with Mark Staples ’67. “It really set me on my path,” she says, explaining that she began to focus on a career in public relations. Hosting interns and externs is “a way for me to give back. I’m also intrigued hearing from the students. It’s always is fascinating to hear their perspective on life at Lafayette. And it’s reassuring to see how bright the Lafayette students are.”
