As director of marketing for the Philadelphia Flyers National Hockey League team, Shawn Tilger ’94 is always doing something different. And so, as an externship sponsor, he makes sure the students observe and get involved in nearly every part of what he does at the team’s Wachovia Center base. “We put them in a new department each day, so they get to see each part of the business,” Tilger says, adding that externships benefit the team, the College, and himself. “I want to stay involved in Lafayette and help the college as much as possible.”
