New Canaan (Conn.) Community Foundation, a charity that accepts and administers gifts on behalf of the community, has added Robert Albus ‘68 to its board of directors.
Albus is president and chief executive officer of Home-Link Services, a real estate company. Previously, he held positions at Premier Business Development, was vice president of business development for the medical publishing division of CBS, and was marketing director and general manager of the Canadian operations of Combe.
An economics graduate, Albus earned a master’s degree in business administration, finance, and marketing from Lehigh University. He is a founder and president of New Canaan Teen Center and coaches football and baseball.
“I believe in giving back to the community for no reason other than it is the responsible thing to do,” he says. “I credit my Lafayette experience — academics and athletics — with helping me develop my leadership qualities and recognize the responsibilities of being a contributing member to society.”
