The Concert Band will present its annual fall concert 3 p.m. Sunday at the Williams Center for the Arts.
The varied program will include music of Mark Frederick, William Boyce, Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Ed Huckeby, and Richard Wagner. The 35-member ensemble is in its second year under the direction of James Moyer, associate professor of music.
“We had a strong recruiting year with our freshman class,” he says. “The band continues to grow in size and quality and this program will be the most challenging yet for the band.”
Moyer is also timpanist/soloist with the Allentown Band and performs with the Allentown Symphony.
