Lafayette and MBC Teleproductions are producing a first-of-its-kind, live election-night television broadcast this fall.

Student anchors, reporters, and commentators are needed to fill on-camera roles. Auditions for these roles will continue Wednesday, Sept. 6, from noon to 2 p.m. in the Wilson Room of the Pfenning Alumni Center.

Interested students can walk in anytime during audition hours; each audition will take 5-10 minutes. You need not prepare anything in advance.

The criteria used in the auditions will be:

  • strong speaking voice
  • professional appearance
  • interest in the political process
  • ability to work cooperatively with a team
  • outgoing personality

Students interested in off-camera roles, including associate producer, line-producer, stage manager, etc., should contact Mark Crain, Simon Professor of Political Economy (crainm@lafayette.edu).
