Dear Class of 2006,
I would like to thank you for the internship stipend I received this past summer as a result of your class gift. The stipend allowed me to partake in the internship of my choice without having to worry about location in regard to cost of living and transportation. The stipend was especially helpful in my case due to the fact that there were no requirements for what industry the internship needed to be in. This allowed students of all majors and interests to be eligible and that is something I believe to be extremely important. Making your class gift an internship stipend was a great way to make sure that you left a lasting impact on the lives of the students behind you and I know that it was greatly appreciated by all who received one. I look forward to continuing this tradition with my senior class. Thank you again and I hope that you are all enjoying life after Lafayette.
