Through a weekend of picnics, guest speakers, reminiscing, and much more, the Class of 1997 will celebrate its 10th reunion June 1-3.

“Reunion is an excellent time to reconnect with both old friends and the College,” says Keith LaPointe ’97, reunion chair. “This year, I am really looking forward to seeing the changes on campus.”

Alumni will once again have the chance to walk the path across the Quad from Pardee to Marquis Hall as part of the student-guided campus tours. Alumni can also wander through several open galleries on campus, attend the Bourger Varsity Football House dedication and open house, and take in a College update by President Daniel Weiss.

“Reunion is a great time to rekindle old friendships,” says Sharon Grossman Herzog ’97, who will attend her second Reunion in June. “It’s a great way to keep the College a part of people’s lives and give them an excuse to come back to campus and see what’s going on.”

Class of ’97 alumni can look forward to the All-College Dinner on the Quad, a social in front of South College, and a private class cocktail party and dinner on the Quad.

While both LaPointe and Herzog agree that dinner and dancing on the Quad has been a highlight of past Reunions, there is something else that holds great interest for Herzog – meeting the newest and littlest members of the extended Lafayette community.

“I’m looking forward to seeing which members of our class have had children,” she says
