After four years of hard work, members of the Class of ’07 are taking a week to enjoy their final moments at Lafayette.

This year’s Senior Week celebration features plenty of food and fun leading up to graduation on May 19. Events will begin with a kickoff reception with President Dan Weiss 5:30-7 p.m. tonight at the President’s home.

“This week is part of Lafayette tradition, and one that every student looks forward to since the day they arrive,” says anthropology and sociology major Kara Boodakian ’07 (Winchester, Mass.), a member of Senior Class Council. “This year, the Senior Class Council decided to specifically include all members of the Lafayette community who have been influential in our four years here. This is a bittersweet week in which we are nostalgic about our final week as college students, yet look forward to all the incredible opportunities that lay ahead for us.”

Along with Boodakian, Senior Class Council includes Lauren Fisher ’07 (Clarksburg, N.J.), a double major in government & law and art; Meghan Hargrave ’07 (Bogota, N.J.), a government and law major; Annalese Maddox ’07 (Carrollton, Ga.), who is pursuing a B.S. chemistry and A.B. with a major in Spanish; Maggie Oberrender ’07 (Bridgewater, N.J.), a double major in English and French; and Matthew Potter ’07 (Bethlehem, Pa.), a government and law major.
