Most working women have difficulty finding time to focus on themselves. Whether you are a working mom, single woman, high-powered executive or stay-at-home mother, there is only so much time in the day. When most people think of fitness, their minds automatically revert to going to the gym. Unfortunately, some of us don’t have a gym nearby, or if we do, when we get there all the machines are taken and the whole facility is way too congested. A gym is not the only way to get some exercise; there are many ways to keep fit while on the run.
We will explore some different ways to work out while on a tight schedule. You will be surprised at all you can accomplish in the privacy of your own home, sitting at your desk or even standing in the checkout line. After a long day of work, it is easier to just plop on the couch and watch TV instead of going for a run.No problem, there are many easy exercises that you can do in front of the TV!
We will focus on resistance training and plyometrics, both of which do not require any equipment. We will also focus on supersets. Supersetting is a huge time saver and gives you a more intense workout. Everyone has different body types and what they consider “problem areas,” so we will review exercises for all body parts and all fitness levels.
Looking good isn’t the only benefit to getting in shape. You will feel better emotionally. Exercise coupled with a healthy diet can help reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety, and stress. Any questions or concerns will be addressed and hopefully this seminar will motivate you to make exercise and a healthy diet a lifestyle for you.
