Research by Professor Chris Ruebeck appears in U.S. News and World Report
Research by Christopher S. Ruebeck, assistant professor of economics and business, which found that left-handed college-educated men earn significantly more than their right-handed counterparts, has been featured in an article appearing in U.S. News and World Report.
The research previously appeared on “CBS News Sunday Morning,” NPR’s “Marketplace,” Reuters News Service, CNNMoney.com, The Washington Post, and Newsweek.
An excerpt: “While researchers at Lafayette College and Johns Hopkins University found no wage difference between left-handed and right-handed women, left-handed men who have some college education average about 13 percent more than right-handed men. Lefty males who are college graduates average as much as 20 percent more than their right-handed counterparts.”
Ruebeck has been promoted to associate professor with tenure effective with the beginning of the 2008-09 academic year.
