X-treme Sports Day will be Saturday, Sept. 20
The Easton Farmers’ Market will host an X-treme Sports Day from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20. Activities include fast action corn husking, a watermelon shot-put showdown, hot pepper eating contests, music, and food. The event was originally scheduled for Sept. 6, but was rescheduled due to Tropical Storm Hannah.
As the nation’s oldest continuously operating open-air farmers’ market, the Easton Farmers’ Market offers information, ideas, recipes, and more from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday, May through November.
