Second annual Apple Fest will be Oct. 11
The Easton Farmers’ Market will hold its second annual Apple Fest 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 11 in Centre Square. Market vendors will feature farm-fresh apple cider, fresh-baked apple dumplings, apple pie, apple turnovers, caramel apples, and hot apple fritters.
Events include folk singer Heather Mulvey from 10 a.m. – noon, an apple pie eating contest at 11 a.m., an apple dessert contest at noon, apple T-shirt or tote printing, apple games, harvest story time, and more.
As the nation’s oldest continuously operating open-air farmers’ market, the Easton Farmers’ Market offers information, ideas, recipes, and more from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday, May through November.
