Event is a fundraiser for Easton’s Main Street Initiative

The third annual Chocolate Lovers’ Soiree will be held from 7-10 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, at the Bank Street Annex, 316 Northampton Street in Easton.

A fundraiser for Easton’s Main Street Initiative, the event features tasting-sized portions of chocolate desserts, handmade truffles, ice cream, pastries, and other chocolate creations featured by local restaurants, bakeries, candy shops, and chocolatiers. New this year will be chocolate teas, an art sale, a tricky tray, and a raffle.

Tickets are $25 per person. Attendees who show a lunch or dinner receipt dated January 31, 2009 from a downtown Easton restaurant will receive a $5 discount. (Limit one receipt per person.)

Tickets can be purchased in advance at Green Harvest Food Emporium and Cosmic Cup, both in Easton; Wired Café & Gallery in Bethlehem; Something Different in Forks Township; and Lynn’s Florist in Nazareth; or at the door the night of the event.

The event is sponsored by Harmony Press and the Bank Street Annex with floral donations from Lynn’s Florist, The Posey Peddler, and Bloomies Flower Shop.
