Alumni are making their voices heard in support of Lafayette by participating in the Count Me In campaign. The goal is to raise the percentage of alumni who give to the College up to 37 percent by June 30, the end of the 2010-11 fiscal year.

The campaign lets alumni know that their gifts make a big difference, regardless of the size. Even small gifts help improve the College’s alumni participation rate, which is viewed by publishers of college rankings as a significant indicator of alumni satisfaction and contributes to how Lafayette is perceived by prospective students.

The campaign includes a video series highlighted by lighthearted animations illustrating offbeat fundraising ideas from the development staff. A Count Me In page has been created on Facebook along with a webpage on the development website, which includes a link to give online.

As of June 27, nearly 35 percent of alumni contributed to Lafayette in the 2010-11 fiscal year. Fewer than 400 more donors are needed to reach the goal of 37 percent.
