Alicia Bartley ’12 (Paterson, N.J.) and Christine Vrakas ’13 (Hillsborough, N.J.) worked with Robert Kurt, associate professor of biology, on separate projects focusing on cancerous breast tumors in mice.

Shane Foye ’12 (Westernville, N.Y.) will present with Rothenberger on the impact of beetles on purple loosestrife within Jacobsburg State Park.
Lauren Hinkel ’14 (Doylestown, Pa.) and Hannah Komar ’13 (Danville, Pa.) worked on research on phytophthora sojae, a plant pathogen that can damage soybean crops, with Ospina-Giraldo.
