Students, faculty, and staff had some fun in downtown Easton during the sixth annual Lafayette Day. The event, which corresponds with the Riverside Festival of the Arts, featured free food, music, games, and specials at local shops, galleries, and restaurants.

    Thank you for covering this great event. Each year we see more and more students, faculty and staff getting involved in our community. This is a credit to them, President Weiss and the Board of Trustees. Like the previous post, it certainly is far far better than my previous terms when I served as Mayor from 1984-1992. Lafayette students, faculty and staff donated more than 30,000 volunteer hours last year to our various non-profit and community groups. They are excellent role models for our youth and the positive relationship with the college is very much appreciated.

    It gratifies this alum (B.S. Chemistry 1971) to see the college connecting with the city better than they did in my years growing up in South Easton and attending Lafayette.
