The men’s basketball team defeated Boston University, 89-64, in the opening round of the Patriot League Tournament at Kirby Sports Center tonight.
The team shot 63 percent from the floor, including 55 percent on three-pointers. They set a tournament record with 16 triples on the night.
The Leopards will travel to Bucknell to play their second-round game, set for 2 p.m. Sunday at Sojka Pavilion in Lewisburg, Pa.

The women’s basketball team defeated Loyola, 58-46, at Kirby Sports Center Wednesday night in its first round Patriot League Tournament game. The Lady Leopards will travel to American for a quarterfinal game Friday night.
