Jennifer TalaricoJennifer Talarico, professor of psychology, is quoted in an Associated Press story that discusses the angst and anger surrounding this year’s July Fourth holiday.

Multiple news outlets, including San Francisco Gate, Houston Chronicle, The Seattle Times, and The Washington Times, published the story.

Talarico provided insight about the contributing role of the pandemic: “The ordinary flow of daily life—all of that has been disrupted,” she said.

Talarico is a cognitive psychologist who studies the role of emotion in how people remember events.
