On Friday, Sept. 4 at noon, Harry S. Cherken, Jr. ’71 will interview Miller about his latest book, Vicksburg: Grant’s Campaign That Broke the Confederacy.

Vicksburg has been widely celebrated; Miller has received The Fletcher-Pratt Literary Award for the outstanding book on the Civil War, The Laney Prize, for the same accomplishment, and the Army Historical Foundation Distinguished Writing Award.
