Marketplace, NPR’s flagship business news radio program and podcast, quoted Julie Smith, professor of economics, about her views on inflation when COVID relief money starts getting out into the economy.

Program host Kai Ryssdal produced a segment, which aired Feb. 10, about the economic effects of President Biden’s coronavirus relief package.

Smith, one of several economics professors quoted in the story, can be heard about six minutes into the segment.
