College's chief investment officer joins ‘Squawk on the Street’
Lafayette College’s Chief Investment Officer Krishna Memani appeared on CNBC to share insights about how the economic recovery might play out in 2022.
“Once the stimulus passes and all these policies come into the market, 2022 is going to be very, very different than 2021. All these effects that are tailwinds today will basically become headwinds in 2022,” he said. “That’s what the equity investors and the Fed are focused on—not 2021.”
Prior taking his position with the College in 2020, Memani served as vice chairman of investments at Invesco. Memani joined Invesco when the firm combined with Oppenheimer Funds in 2019, where he was chief investment officer.
Memani has been making regular appearances on national media broadcasts to share his expertise and insights regarding economic recovery and the impact of the Biden administration. Watch more of Memani’s media appearances.
