Mechanical engineers design the future. Combining technical analysis with creativity, mechanical engineers address challenges facing society both locally and globally.
Visiting assistant professor of mechanical engineering conducted research on hydrogen energy and electrochemical conversion of carbon dioxide at Elizabeth City State University
I study: “My areas of expertise are ocean energy, renewable energy conversion devices and engineering education. My background is in the field of mechanical engineering with an emphasis on renewable energy. I have also worked in the area of engineering education focusing on pedagogy. Prior to joining Lafayette, I worked as postdoc at Elizabeth City State University where I conducted research in the area of hydrogen energy and electrochemical conversion of carbon dioxide.”
This fall I’m teaching: “Manufacturing and Design and Senior Design Project”
I’m excited to be here because: “As a person passionate about teaching, Lafayette offers a unique opportunity to share my knowledge with undergraduate students. I have found students at Lafayette to be motivated and passionate about their education. My faculty-colleagues in mechanical engineering are helpful and willing to share their teaching experiences with me.”
