Praveen Malali

I study: “My areas of expertise are ocean energy, renewable energy conversion devices and engineering education. My background is in the field of mechanical engineering with an emphasis on renewable energy. I have also worked in the area of engineering education focusing on pedagogy. Prior to joining Lafayette, I worked as postdoc at Elizabeth City State University where I conducted research in the area of hydrogen energy and electrochemical conversion of carbon dioxide.”  

This fall I’m teaching: “Manufacturing and Design and Senior Design Project”

I’m excited to be here because: “As a person passionate about teaching, Lafayette offers a unique opportunity to share my knowledge with undergraduate students. I have found students at Lafayette to be motivated and passionate about their education. My faculty-colleagues in mechanical engineering are helpful and willing to share their teaching experiences with me.”
