On March 9, our community came together to celebrate Lafayette College's birthday
Founders’ Day provided an opportunity to honor the history of the College while also celebrating the special community of students, faculty, staff, and alumni who make Lafayette such a distinctive place today. Members of the campus community enjoyed cupcakes and other giveaways in Farinon College Center. Students took the time to write thank-you notes to generous donors who supported the 24-hour giving challenge.
President Nicole Farmer Hurd hosted an afternoon community meeting for faculty and staff, which included special guests Robert Sell ’84, chair of the board of trustees, David Stifel, Charles A. Dana Professor of Economics, and Kamaka Martin ’04, chair of the west coast advisory council. Faculty and staff gathered in Farinon for a reception following the event.
