WFMZ-TV interviewed professor of government and public service about two campaigns separated by slim margins
In Pennsylvania, there are two state Senate races where the winner and runner-up are separated by only 40 votes and 19 votes after the primary election.
WFMZ-TV spoke to John Kincaid, Robert B. and Helen S. Meyner Professor of Government and Public Service, for his insight.
“It’s been a long time since we’ve had elections this close,” Kincaid said.
Kincaid said redistricting and division within the Republican Party were contributing factors.
