Nicole Eramo joins the Office of the President as Chief of Staff

Dear students, faculty and staff,

It is a pleasure to share with you that Nicole Eramo has joined the Office of the President as Chief of Staff. Nicole, who started yesterday, joins us from the University of Virginia, where she served for more than 20 years in various leadership roles within the offices of the Dean of Students and the Vice President of Student Affairs, including the last three years as chief of staff in the vice president’s office. Nicole also earned her bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. degrees from UVA.

In her new role at Lafayette, Nicole will be instrumental in planning and managing strategic priorities and projects that drive forward the goals and mission of the College across multiple divisions simultaneously, and will work especially closely with the senior administrative team and me. She also will play a critical role coordinating work with our partners across the community and will manage the day-to-day operations of the president’s office.

Nicole is a consummate professional, deeply knowledgeable about higher education and management, and an absolute delight to work with. I look forward to introducing her to everyone in the days and weeks ahead. Thank you for joining me in welcoming her to our community.
