Prof. John Kincaid, Robert B. and Helen S. Meyner Professor of Government and Public Service, tells WFMZ that aides can keep the senator informed but there may be concerns about him voting on the Senate floor
Prof. John Kincaid was quoted in a Feb. 17 WFMZ-69 News report about what to expect during U.S. Sen. John Fetterman’s treatment for depression.
The freshman Democratic senator from Pennsylvania, who suffered a stroke last year while on the campaign trail and spent months in recovery, admitted himself into the Walter Reed National Military Medical Army Center on Feb. 16 for treatment of clinical depression.
Kincaid, Robert B. and Helen S. Meyner Professor of Government and Public Service, told WFMZ that the senator’s aides can keep him informed during his treatment but noted that there could be challenges getting him to the Senate floor to vote, a concern for Democrats who hold a narrow majority in the Senate.
