Ross Gay '96, Brooke O’Harra ’95, and Yolanda Wisher ’98 come together in performance that meditates on America’s history of racial violence
Three distinguished alumni are part of the world premiere of Be Holding at Girard College in Philadelphia.
Based on the award-winning poem of the same name by Ross Gay ’96, the performance meditates on America’s history of racial violence in search of Black genius, justice, and joy. The performance, which runs through June 3, is directed by Brooke O’Harra ’95 and poet Yolanda Wisher ’98 performs the text of Be Holding.
