Lafayette celebrates faculty members who have been promoted from associate professor to professor, effective the start of the fall semester
The Lafayette community is proud to recognize the accomplishments of three faculty members—Mike Butler, professor of biology, Benjamin Cohen, chair of engineering studies and professor, and Brett Hendrickson, professor of religious studies—who have been promoted from associate professor to professor, effective the start of the fall semester.
“This is the final promotion that any faculty member can earn at Lafayette College,” says Provost John Meier, “and it signifies that a tenured faculty member has a continuing record of distinctive teaching, scholarly accomplishment, and demonstrated leadership in the academic community.”
