Jennifer Talarico, professor of psychology and department head, was quoted in a June 18 Associated Press article about the question of demolishing or preserving sites associated with violent and deadly crimes.

Talarico, who studies the role of emotions in memory, noted in the article that the choice can depend on whose memories are being considered.
