Cinco is set to make its debut Thurs., Aug. 22. Find a Mexican-inspired menu featuring tacos, burritos, bowls, salads, and more.
The space: The space at 201 McCartney St.—which will welcome students, faculty, staff, and the community—will feature a mix of couches, tables, and chairs. Or, customers can opt for outdoor seating on the patio, weather permitting. “It will have a chill vibe, with music playing in the background,” says Shadeera Riddick, marketing manager for Parkhurst Dining.
The menu: Cinco will utilize local vendors that come from within 100 miles of campus for meat and veggies. Fresh greens and microgreens from LaFarm will be utilized in recipes where possible, Riddick says. The back bar area of the restaurant will allow customers to choose their own ingredients. Cinco will also feature vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. The chicken will be halal as well. Prices will range from $2.99 for chips and salsa to $9.95 for quesadillas. MENU
Hours: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
