In a Sept. 20 WFMZ report, Prof. John Kincaid previewed the weekend visits to eastern Pennsylvania by the two vice presidential candidates.

Kincaid, the Robert B. and Helen S. Meyner Professor of Government and Public Service and director of the Meyner Center for the Study of State and Local Government, noted that Pennsylvania is critical to both tickets and that whoever wins its 19 electoral votes will likely win the election.
