As the Lafayette Leopards prepared to take on the Lehigh Mountain Hawks for the 160th Rivalry—the most-played football rivalry in the country—the entire Lafayette community got in on the action and enjoyed a weeklong celebration of traditions and activities.

Rivalry Week was in full swing as Student Movement Against Cancer (SMAC) and Lafayette Activities Forum (LAF) held the annual SMAC the Lehigh car event.
At this annual College tradition, the Lafayette College community gathered to watch the lighting of the Quad, make DIY snow globes, and enjoy hot chocolate, a capella singing, and poem readings.
Winter weather didn’t stop the Lafayette community from coming together to cheer on the Leopards at their practice. The event included food, giveaways, activities, and more!
Running back Jamar Curtis eclipsed the 3,000-yard mark for career rushing yards as Lafayette’s two-game series win streak was snapped in a 38-14 loss to Lehigh.
The Leopards still claim the all-time series record, 82-73-5, and have won four of the last six.
