Fred Morgan Kirby Professor of Civil Rights will share insights during May 6 lecture

Bruce Murphy
Bruce Murphy, Fred Morgan Kirby Professor of Civil Rights at Lafayette College, will join Jeffrey Rosen, National Constitution Center president and CEO for a conversation on the Fourth Amendment. Their conversation will examine the amendment’s text, history, and interpretation, describe key terms and ideas (like searches, seizures, and privacy), and define some of the key debates about where the Fourth Amendment is headed in an age of new technology. Murphy will also discuss his career as a constitutional biographer and scholar and answer questions from participants.
