Visiting assistant professor of mechanical engineering has a Ph.D. in aerospace engineering
My background: “I am a new immigrant coming from Canada with a Syrian origin. I have been a faculty member at Aleppo University since 2001, and a visiting prof at University of Alberta, Canada. My area of study is intelligent control system implementation in aerospace system applications.”
This fall I’m teaching: “Strength of Materials and Control Systems and Mechatronics lab”
What students can expect from me: “I’ll make the class interesting, help the students achieve their learning goals, and encourage them to be active in class and respect one another.”
I’m excited to be here because: “It is an exciting place to teach and to have opportunities to build academic relations with faculty members.”
