Event celebrates student academic and community achievement, where more than 100 endowed and department awards are presented to students
Lafayette College held its annual All-College Honors Convocation May 4 in Colton Chapel.
The event celebrates student academic and community achievement, where more than 100 endowed and department awards are presented to students by the president, provost, faculty, and other College community members.
Guest speaker was Amanda Pisetzner ’10, an Emmy Award-winning producer, Emmy-nominated writer, and documentary storyteller. She has worked on series and specials for Showtime, HBO, NBC, Discovery Channel, and more. Her work spans from character-driven profiles to complex historical documentaries. Pisetzner is a storyteller at heart, driven by a desire to bridge communities and cultivate empathy in an increasingly divided world. By centering characters’ stories and creating safe spaces for authentic interviews, she embraces documentary filmmaking’s power to foster understanding, offer fresh perspectives, and inspire action.
